1. General Warranty

Warranty coverage depends on the specific product, manufacturer and terms stated in the applicable quotation, invoice, warranty certificate, product documentation or service agreement.

Different products may have different warranty periods.

Where a product is covered by a manufacturer’s warranty, the manufacturer’s warranty terms, conditions and exclusions will apply.

GEO IOT SERVICES may assist customers in submitting valid manufacturer warranty claims.

3. GEO IOT Workmanship Warranty

Where expressly stated in the quotation or service agreement, GEO IOT SERVICES may provide a workmanship warranty covering defects directly caused by GEO IOT SERVICES’ installation work.

The applicable warranty period will be stated in the relevant quotation, invoice or agreement.

5. Customer Negligence

Where equipment is damaged because of customer negligence, misuse or failure to follow operating instructions, the resulting damage will not ordinarily be covered under the GEO IOT workmanship warranty.

This includes damage caused by intentionally or negligently interfering with, modifying, relocating or improperly operating installed equipment.

6. Third-Party Repairs and Modification

If equipment is opened, repaired, modified, rewired, relocated or tampered with by an unauthorised third party, the applicable warranty may be affected or become void to the extent that the third-party action caused or contributed to the claimed defect.

7. Warranty Claim Requirements

Customers may be required to provide:

  • Proof of purchase
  • Invoice
  • Product serial number
  • Photographs or videos
  • Description of the fault

GEO IOT SERVICES may inspect the product or installation before determining whether the claim is covered.

8. Warranty Remedy

Where a valid warranty claim is established, the available remedy may include:

  • Repair
  • Replacement
  • Correction of installation workmanship
  • Manufacturer warranty processing
  • Another remedy required by applicable law

A valid warranty claim does not automatically create a right to a cash refund unless required by applicable law or expressly agreed.

9. Warranty Transfer

Unless expressly stated otherwise, warranties may not automatically transfer to another person or property.

10. Warranty Limitation

The warranty provided by GEO IOT SERVICES is limited to the specific products, workmanship or services expressly covered by the applicable warranty.

No additional warranty is created by statements made outside the applicable written warranty documentation.

11. Statutory Rights

Nothing in this Warranty Policy excludes or limits any statutory right or liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
